To run a compatibility test, fill your chosen packaging samples with your actual cosmetic formulation, seal them securely, and store them in two environments: room temperature and an incubator set to 40°C (104°F) to simulate accelerated aging. Examine the packaging and formula at 30, 60, and 90 days, checking for leakage, plastic cracking (crazing), color fading, or formula separation.
